Serrapeptase is a natural enzyme. The Serrapeptase Elixir nutritional supplement is contained in the highest Natural Swiss quality with a concentration of 250,000 IU. Serratiopeptidase with a molecular weight of approximately 52 kDa was first isolated from the enterobacterium Serratia sp. This microorganism was originally isolated in the 1960s from a silkworm larva and allows the emerging mole to dissolve its cocoon. The enzyme belongs to the group of enzymes Serralysin and is known to cleave peptides with Asn-Gln, CysSO3H-gly, Arg-Gly and Tyr-Tyr bonds, as well as a bond between His-Leu, Gly-Ala, Ala-Leu, Tryleu , Gly-Gly, Phen-Tyr and Tyr-Thr, which exhibit broad substrate specificity. The enzyme has been known in the EU since the 1980s, and several tests and studies have been carried out on it, as evidenced by the rich publishing activity (see References and studies). Enzymatic activity 250,000 IU , one acid-resistant capsule (resistant to gastric acid) contains 110 mg of active substance. The activity of the enzymes is given in IU (International Unit) and not in the weight of the contents. The highest quality is guaranteed by a value with a concentration of 250,000 IU.
INULIN (probiotic fiber) serves as food for beneficial bacteria of the intestinal flora. These intestinal bacteria produce vitamin B, improving the absorption and utilization of the enzyme in the body.
DRCapsTM gastric acid-resistant capsules protect the enzyme, which dissolves only in the right place - in the small intestine. DRCapsTM capsules from Natural Swiss contain the unique Nutrateric® enteric coating , which protects its active ingredients from stomach acids. This means that, due to the delayed-release coating, the orally administered serrapeptase dissolves only in the small intestine. From there, the blood flow safely enters the parts of the body affected by inflammation. The delayed release of the tablets guarantees optimal absorption of serrapeptase and its effect with the best possible efficiency.

Application
It is very important to know that Elixir Serrapeptase should be taken on an empty stomach because the capsule dissolves in the small intestine. If the capsules are taken incorrectly, they are emptied from the body with food. The capsule is taken with a sufficient amount of water. Improper use of a nutritional supplement reduces the absorption and effect of the enzyme.
