Cannabinoid CBG

Another cannabinoid, yet transparent cannabigerol (CBG), is gaining the attention of patients and experts. Early research confirms that CBG has therapeutic potential, for example:

alleviation of anxiety,
chronic pain,
muscle stiffness without any side effects.

CBG and CBD are on the same ship, but CBG is currently rarer due to its unavailability. However, some experts argue that CBG could be an option for the treatment of muscle cramps and chronic pain. And in a completely natural and safe way, without any chemicals or side effects. CBG binds to cannabinoid receptors, but its affinity is significantly lower than that of THC, so even the consumption of large amounts of the substance (CBG) does not lead to intoxication. However, CBG shows excellent efficacy against anxiety and also relieves muscle stiffness. Therefore, it is an excellent dietary supplement for athletes and hard-working people. Experts therefore believe that it binds to specific endocannabionide receptors responsible for relieving anxiety and pain. The icing on the cake is then the absence of side effects that other medications have with the exception of appetite.

There is evidence from patients taking CBG to treat chronic pain . In the vast majority of cases, they combine preparations containing CBD and CBG to prevent an increase in the body's tolerance to individual cannabinoids. Patients experienced relief of muscle tension and pain and no psychoactive effects. According to the conclusions of research from 2013, it is highly successful in the treatment of inflammatory bowel diseases and scientists are also interested in the possibility of its application as a preventive and therapeutic agent against neurodegenerative diseases.
